Overview

The Voicemail service allows callers to leave you a message in your mailbox when you’re unable to take their call personally. You can be alerted to the arrival of new messages in your mailbox in a number of different ways and can access your mailbox from any location, by telephone. Voicemail can be added to the Hosted Direct Business Phone Line Service or to any existing phone number you may already have.

Personalising Your Mailbox

Each mailbox owner records a personal greeting message, played to the caller when an incoming call is received. In addition to your default greeting, you can also record a daily greeting. An absence greeting may be recorded to play between user-defined start and end dates, for example, to cover a holiday period.

New Message Alerts

You can set up your mailbox to alert you when new messages arrive, you can dial in to check for new messages, you can have them automatically forwarded to your email inbox.

Accessing Your Voicemail

When you receive a voice message, you can have it forwarded automatically to your nominated email inbox as a new message with an attached .wav file. You can also access and manage your voice mailbox using your phone by ringing our maintenance number.
