There are so many things to decide upon when setting up a new business, to work from home or rent an office and if this, then how much space will be required, where and on what terms, what furniture will be needed, what computer equipment and what communications in terms of broadband and telephony?

The Rise of IP Telephony

Last year, IP Telephony was said by many to have finally hit the mainstream business market. IP Telephony is defined as a telephone system that operates over a data network using the Internet Protocol (IP).

The rise of IP Telephony is a very different thing to the rise of VoIP.
